|FURRIESS ON THE TRAINS
This is a rather informal meet for people with a fursuit or without, involving 2 railways. Meet at Aylsham station at 1pm, to catch the train to Wroxham along the Bure Valley Railway. I'm unsure of the ticket price at the moment. But be sure to bring money as train rides will cost money. At Wroxham there will be a chance for anyone wanting to arrive by the mainline train to catch up. At about 2:30 a walk through Wroxham to the bridge where you can take the boat to the second railway, Barton House Railway. Or you can continue over the bridge and follow the yellow signs to get there by foot (or paw). Admission to the railway is £3 and this includes a ride on the 7 and 1/4 train in a large back garden. Extra rides can be purchased and an unlimited journey ticket is available. There is a big lawn if you just want to muck around.
There are steam engines running on both railways but both railways burn good quality coal so there is almost no chance of getting covered in soot.
Barton House Railway closes at 5:30, but you will have to check what time Bure Valley's last train is, especially if your car is parked at Aylsham.
Unfortunately I am away during this meet so you will have to fend for youselves, however it is not a long journey from Bure Valley Railway to Barton House.
